Lexus LFA and IS-F joust on track at Buntingthorpe Just a couple of weeks ago we reported that the first Lexus LFA in the UK had put in an appearance at Goodwood to delight the Supercar Sunday Breakfast Club. The visit to Goodwood made it clear that Lexus were treating the LFA as a serious performance car, and not just a rich man’s toy (although it is a rich man’s toy), so we wondered where Lexus UK would go next with their very own LFA. Would they trot it up to Lexus Park Lane and put it on show for the temptation of the passing wealthy, or would they plough on with putting the LFA in front of real (if wealthy) petrolheads?

Heavy rain brings more flood risks

HEAVY RAIN and gale force winds are set to continue to batter large swathes of the south of Britain, leaving many areas at risk of further flooding. The country will be hit by two new turbulent weather systems that are predicted to bring high winds and rain in their wake. The Yaris HSD, as presented in Geneva, previews Toyota's intentions of bringing Hybrid technology to the B-Segment, as well as Toyota's full hybrid roll out across all models in its range. Retaining the familiar Yaris outwardly appearance (and previewing the next generation Yaris) the HSD is interspersed with ‘Hybrid' cues, to intimate at the hybrid powertrain beneath the body. From the pearl white paint to the light blue hue that illuminates certain aspects, there is an underlying emphasis on the fact that this car is a hybrid.
